Watched a french movie the other day called The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. It's about the editor of Elle magazine. He suffers a stroke that leaves his completely paralized. He has one good eye which allows him to communicate by blinking. Someone repeats the letters of the alphabet and he blinks for the letter he wants. He lived ten months after the stroke--just enough time to dictate and entire book about his experience and have it published. Jean-Dominique Bauby died at the age of 43.

School bus #43

I watch some kids after school. They were late getting home because their bus broke down and they had to wait for a replacement. The replacement was Montgomery County school bus 43. 43 saves the day!

Mr. 43 Himself...the man's a legend
Back in the day when I would ask my brother what time it was, he would answer "43." I soon realized it had nothing to do with the time and that he was just trying to bug me. And from then on it became a joke whenever I asked for the time. Later on, we discovered the magic of the number 43. It's everywhere! It's the most popular number on this great planet. So why 43? You tell me. You'll be living your life as usual, minding your own business, and then one day...you'll see 43...and your life will never be the same.
